Happy Anniversary! I just wanted to write and share with you how God has used you in my life. When we came to Integrity, I had no idea how to read through Scripture and apply it to my life. I had no foundation and was a reed in the wind. You have taught me how to find and put the pieces of the puzzle together when it comes to Scripture. You have taught me so much about the holiness and Sovereignty of God. The study that you did on Idolatry a few summers back was a huge turning point in my life and God used that to dramatically change how I function in my marriage, with my children and in countless other relationships. You have always been lovingly direct and gracious toward me. I remember one time in particular where I was sitting in your garage and trying to record my testimony and I started to bawl. You knelt down in front of me and gently talked me through whatever issue was going on. I have no idea what was even said now but that gesture sticks out vividly in my mind to this day and probably always will. It meant a lot to me. I'm thankful that you have cared enough about me and my family to have hard conversations. I'm thankful for the times you stayed on the phone for hours to talk through questions I had. You are truly a gifted teacher, natural speaker, an amazing husband, father and friend. I'm thankful for you in many ways and think of you as my big brother. I'm excited to see how God will use you in this new season of life and I can't wait to hear about it all. I will miss you guys more than you know!
